VISION GARDENS HISTORY

David Wood the founder and principal of Vision Gardens undertook formal training in 1970s at the world renowned colleges Askham Bryan in York and Merrist Wood in Surrey England.

Specialising in horticulture, landscape construction, garden design and later in arboriculture Davids early qualifications formed a solid foundation for work in the landscape industry.

The following 30 years experience designing and constructing gardens has seen “a lot of water pass under the bridge” Trends and fashions have come and gone but the basic principles of how to construct a good garden and how to grow plants remains the same

Vision Gardens has developed a philosophy of team spirit and loyalty within its employees and promotes training a multi skilled group of people that can handle almost all aspects of landscape work. This results in minimising the use of outside contractors allowing our company to maintain the highest possible standards, on time and to cost.

All our construction crew are trained to exacting standards and are either fully qualified or undertaking formal training.
